| The 19th anniversary of the tragedy was marked with the annual service at Anfield and was attended by thousands of supporters as well as the management staff and first team squad. Former midfielder Brian Hall and reserve team boss Gary Ablett both gave readings to the congregation in a service which included a minute's silence at 3.06pm and a rousing chorus of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' at the end. During LFC TV's evening of carefully selected programmes, 'Hillsborough' - a powerful new documentary - was aired for the first time at 10pm. Featuring contributions from the likes of Sheila Coleman, Phil Hammond, Neil Fitzmaurice, Peter Carney, Rogan Taylor, John Barnes and John Aldridge amongst others, this programme is essential viewing for not just Liverpool fans, but all football supporters.
