Luis Alberto: Our new signing in profile

Liverpool today completed the signing of Luis Alberto from Sevilla, subject to international clearance – and here we take a closer look at the young striker's career so far.
Luis Alberto Romero Alconchel was born on September 28, 1992 in San Jose del Valle, Cadiz on the south-west coast of Spain.
Aged 12 he was scouted by Sevilla and brought into their Academy system, where he underwent five years of training before progressing to Sevilla B in 2009.
A versatile youngster, the Spaniard can play anywhere across the attacking line and is comfortable being deployed just behind the striker.
He is equally comfortable using either foot and combines strength, impressive ball control and vision to dangerous effect.
Former Sevilla manager Gregorio Manzano handed Alberto his first-team debut against Getafe when the forward was just 18 years of age in April 2011.
Alberto took to the field to replace another youth graduate, Rodri, in the second half of Sevilla's 1-0 loss to Getafe.
He would go on to gain another six first-team appearances for the club prior to departing for Anfield in June 2013; however, it was at B level for both Sevilla and then later Barcelona, where Alberto made his name.
