Liverpool are linked with a move for Standard Liege captain Steven Defour, according to reports in the Belgian press.
The Belgian international is thought to be on the verge of leaving the Belgian giants despite recently signing an extension with the club.
The 22-year-old, who was out of action for much of last season with an injury, is still highly rated in European football and is expected to command a fee of around £10 million. Defour could join former team-mate Milan Jovanovic should he make a move to Anfield.
