Rafa set to seal £13m double swoop

Liverpool are close to completing a £13million double swoop for Italian defender Andrea Dossena and Spain and former Manchester City loanman Albert Riera.

Kop negotiations are at an advanced stage for 26-year-old Udinese left-back Dossena who will cost £8m and is set to replace John Arne Riise, the News of the World says.

Riera, 26 – who was on loan at Manchester City two years ago – also looks Anfield-bound for £5m.

Reds boss Rafa Benitez will use the highly-rated Argentine Sebastian Leto as bait in a swap deal.
